We make liège waffles, a style of waffle originally from Belgium and traditionally made with yeast and pearl sugar. Instead of starting their journey as a thin liquid batter, liège waffles are made from raised dough similar to a brioche bread. The result is a hot and buttery, pearl sugar pocketed delight.
Wallflour waffles will be available in Twin Cities Lakewind Foods location in Summer 2019.
