Tayo offers an authentic Filipino dining experience using only your hands; without plates and utensils, at your home or office. This Filipino tradition is called Kamayan which is a Tagalog word that means to “eat with your hands”.
A typical Kamayan meal features a table covered in banana leaves, which act as substitute for plates. A bed of rice is placed on the banana leaves across the entire table to act as a foundation for the entrees. Placed on and around the rice are typical Filipino meats, seafood, and vegetables; like whole fried fish, shrimp, barbecued pork skewers, Filipino-style egg rolls, sweet sausages, and marinated grilled chicken.
Clients book a few days in advance. During the day of the event, Tayo will prep and cook an entire Kamayan feast; then deliver and set up at the client’s home or office.
