The Takoma Park Silver Spring Community Kitchen is an affordable, licensed kitchen facility available to aspiring food entrepreneurs to become established in the market. Our Microenterprise Training Program connects potential food business entrepreneurs with community resources, mentorship, and skill development - further improving community food security by bringing more affordably priced foods into the local market.
Graduating from MTP is a REQUIREMENT to be eligible to apply to rent space at the kitchen.
Our next Microenterprise Training Program session held in English will be in October 2018; the next session held in Spanish will be in Spring 2019.
