I have been messing around in kitchens, off and on, most of my life. I make some of the best pulled pork BBQ you will ever try. To label it I would have to say it is my twist on Carolina Q using vinegar and red pepper. I cook with a stick burner using primarily oak. I have pirated flavor profiles from all over including Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, the Caribbean. I spent time as a historical performer with a pirate crew based out of Hampton, Virginia as ships cook demonstrating food history and early colonial life. I attended Culinary School at J. Sargeant Reynolds Community College. Cooking for folks is how I show love. The reaction I get from my new friends when they eat my food is what keeps me cooking. It's not all about the money. shhh - don't tell my accountant.....
