“My baking is mostly self taught, although I have nine years of kitchen experience. When I was in college I began to bake for friends here and there, realizing after a short time that I wanted bake for the rest of my life. I went right to the library and checked out books on bread, pastry, and cake decorating. That same year I recognized the importance of sustainability in production and consumption of food. I became vegetarian in 2014 and did everything in my power to change the way people eat and see food. I am extremely passionate about baking, more than anything else in my life, and I want to change the way people eat dessert. After encouragement from my family and friends, I decided to begin selling my baked goods at farmers markets in Gainesville in July of 2018.”
